Wholesaler Submitted Deal Address Error Corrected

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Tammy pointed out to me earlier today that there was a logic flaw with the code for Wholesaler submitted real estate deals on our system.

When you requested info about a deal on our system on a deal that was submitted by a wholosaler, it was, incorrectly, showing you the address of the property. Instead, our system is designed for those properties to have a form appear to request additional info about those deals.

Wholesalers, when they submit deals, agree to have the buyers from our website come to them with a licensed real estate agent/broker and agree to pay, out of their profits, a commission to the agent for helping the buyer purchase the wholesale property.

That error should have been corrected and for the small testing I did, it looks correct to me. If you notice an error with it, please do leave a comment below or e-mail me.

Thanks.

Until my next post,

James

P.S. I have some end of month business work to do today, but I will be adding a new feature for members of the Wholesaler Network to submit deals they are interested in running numbers on from ANY source to the website and they will earn points that unlock additional content, training and resources. You can sign up for the Wholesaler Network free training if you wish.

Traffic Map To Real Estate Resource Sites

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Map of Traffic to RER Sites 2008-07-30I was just checking traffic to our Real Estate Resource websites this morning like the one at Jacksonville Real Estate Resources and I noticed a pretty interesting new visual way of seeing which ones are more popular than others.

Above is a map showing traffic patterns to the various websites and you can see which of the sites are more popular than others.

Please do realize that we launched over 200 of the 280 or so real estate resource websites we have in June of 2008, so if certain websites seem less popular it may be that they are just getting started. Our traffic to the websites has been steadily increasing over time because one of my big areas of focus is building e-mail lists of investors that visit the site to encourage them to come back for the great real estate investor articles, local resources and of course, real estate investor deals.

As this list grows, it becomes a larger and larger percentage of traffic to the sites and makes them more popular.

Enjoy the map.

Until my next post,

James

Tammy Assisting With E-mails

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

I am starting to market to buy some additional houses and so Tammy will be assisting me with e-mails.

For those of you that have been e-mailing, you may notice that the replies are from Tammy. She has direct, unrestricted access to me. As far as understanding ALL of our businesses, she is second only to me as far as how they work and what we are doing.

She does NOT have a real estate license, so she will not be able to provide you any services that a licensed broker associate can offer, but since I would not offer those services via e-mail anyway, I don’t think it should be an issue.

If you have any questions, it is best to contact me via e-mail as you normally would and if she can assist you, she will. If she needs clarification from me, as I mentioned above, she has direct, unrestricted access to me and can seek clarification. If you absolutely MUST contact me via telephone, you will probably need to get through her first as I am focusing on certain parts of the business and she is taking care of EVERYTHING else.

Until my next post,

James
