Do you follow up?

With the traditional referral model we have, we do follow up with our clients via e-mail to make sure that they have been contacted by you.

You, as the agent receiving the referral, are responsible for following up with the referrals via telephone and as a secondary attempt via e-mail.

Trying once to contact the client and not following up is a sure way to stop receiving referrals from us in the future.

It is not unusual to have to follow up several times to get in contact with the referral, so if this is going to be a challenge for you, then don’t bother registering to receive referrals. We only want agents that are great with follow up and serving the needs of our clients.

With our new sponsorship model, we do very little or no follow with the investors for you. Since we do not collect any referral fee on closed transactions and you get to keep ALL of your commission, we do not feel we need to know if you are closing transactions or not. Your income is your business when they are not referrals and you are free to service the investors in whatever method works best for you and your team.

Until my next post,

James
