How do I get more referrals?

There are two paths. Path one is become the sponsor for your city and get all inquiries and referrals.

Here are tips for getting more referrals if there is not a sponsor for your city:

First, be a superstar to the clients. Nothing will get you more referrals than this. See my final note about this.

Call and follow up with each referral we send you. Just because I send you several referrals does not mean that you can lower your level of personal service and “just add them to an automatic follow up or auto e-mail them listings”.

Second, find deals and submit them on AnalyzeDeals.com from inside your account.

Third, make sure you enter the zip codes you provide service for.

Fourth, keep us informed of what is happening with the referrals we have sent. A voice mail, fax or e-mail update of the status of each one keeps you at the top of mind and makes it much more likely for you to continue to receive referrals. By the way, we do log each time we get an update from you on your account in our referral tracking system and use that to partially determine if you get more referrals.

My final note is… if you really are a superstar, I will go out of my way to build up my referral business to feed you referrals in your market. If I know you are a superstar with awesome follow up, outstanding marketing knowledge and service to the clients and that you keep me in the loop with regular status updates, I tend to focus more of my marketing on finding referrals in your market to refer to you.

It only makes sense to do so since everyone wins… it is much easier to refer clients to superstars, it is better for you to get more business from us, it is better for me to see a higher return on my marketing budget to refer to superstars that do their jobs exceptionally well.
