Telemarketer Interview Questions
Consider selecting a few of the following questions when your potential telemarketers call you from your Telemarketer Wanted Ads. See my additional notes on how to handle telemarketer inquiries on the main Telemarketer Sales Manager Steps Checklist.
NOTE: Please select a few that you like and feel free to mix and match parts so that it works for you. This is intended to be a tool to help you and not to limit you in any way.
- Do you have any customer service experience? Can you tell me about that?
- Do you have any telemarketing experience? What did you like most about that?
- Do you have any sales experience? What has your biggest challenge with that?
- Can you tell me about your sales experience?
- Do you have any real estate experience?
- Have you ever worked with real estate agents or real estate brokers?
- Do you enjoy talking to people on the telephone?
- Are you able to speak on the phone for long periods of time?
- Is the telephone something you enjoy using?
- Do you have an area in your home that is quiet and comfortable enough for you to work in as your own home office? Do you have internet access in that area so you can register agents and brokers and process orders?
- How much are you looking to earn?
- You earn both, but are you more attracted to the large up front commission or the monthly account maintenance commissions?
- What is the last book you read? What did you learn from it?
- Are you looking for a long term position with a stable income?
- Are you looking for work that you can practice and become a professional in?
