Telemarketing Sales Manager Steps
The following is the order of events for people inquiring about the Telemarketing Sales Manager position:
- You request to get additional info from Request For Information page (or one very similar).

- Watch the video on how to add the agents and brokers to the system so that you make sure you are paid commissions when they upgrade to sponsorships.

- Once you’ve read through those and you are ready to talk to me, call me on my cell phone at (970) 225-6989.
- Once we’ve talked, you can download and complete the Telemarketer Sales Manager Independent Contractor Agreement.
- Fax it back to me at (888) 714-4596. You do NOT need a cover sheet as it comes straight to my e-mail.
- Call me at (970) 225-6989 to confirm I have received your fax.
- Drop the original in the mail (my mailing address is on the agreement).
- Also, you should register for an account that we can track your sales on the Analyzed Deals Control Panel
- This can be done by James with you on the phone or you can register yourself.

- You will want to create a script that your telemarketers will use to sell it and I do want to approve it to make sure we are truthfully describing the service you are selling.
- Use the telemarketing real estate agent script I already wrote if you are looking for a starting point. You may also want to see how I present that sale in written form by reading the sponsorship sales page.
- You will still need to modify the script so that you and your team is speaking and not me.
- You can also watch a video of me presenting the script to get a feel for how I would do it.
- You will also want to help your team overcome common objections by writing out what those common objections might be and what you recommend they say.
- Place ads up to get potential telemarketers calling you.

- When potential telemarketers call you, you will need to interview them using your management experience and select ones you can work with, train and have calling on the real estate agents and brokers. See my Telemarketer Interview Questions suggestions for ideas on what to ask your Telemarketers when they call.
- IMPORTANT: Get their name and e-mail and REGISTER THEM from your account to the Analyzed Deals system so that they are linked to you. This is how we make sure that you earn commissions on sales they make so please do this when they call.
- Once you have registered them from your account, they should receive their login and password and you can e-mail them info about the job.
- They will need to sign their own version of an Independent Contractor Agreement (this is different than the Telemarketer Sales Manager Independent Contractor Agreement linked above for you).
- They can fax it to you, or fax it directly to us but make sure they put the original in the mail to us for our file.
- I will give you access to lists of agents and brokers to call if you want or you can look them up using your favorite search engines.
- Here is how I strongly suggest you run your telemarketing team.
- You must call each member of your team at least twice a day until they have made at least 10 sales and then move down to once per day.
- The first call should have them commit to you the exact hours they will be working and for you to give them the ONE CITY they should be calling. Have them call ONE CITY until it is sold. They should be able to sell a city each day if they make their calls.
- Optional: You can make mid-day calls to your telemarketers to check on progress (and also see their activity in the Telemarketer Manager Activity Report right from your account). This report shows you how many agents they signed up for a free account. If you are following my script you should have a lot of free accounts until you make the sale.
- Also, if your telemarketers need help closing the sale or dealing with an objection you need to be great at the script and the objections so you can help them.
- Your second “required” call to each of your telemarketers should be an accountability call.
- Did they work the hours they promised you earlier that day?
- Did they sell their city sponsorship or will they be calling that city again tomorrow?
- How many “free registrations” did they get? This will be a key metric you can use to see who is working and who is not. Getting a free registration is SUPER EASY and shows whether they are calling or not. If they call, they should always get that (at least 9 times out of 10) so you can use it to gauge how many calls they made.
- What challenges did they have? What can you do to train or otherwise help them make sales?

- You can also see how each member of your team stacks up compared to everyone else on the entire system by viewing the Referrer Leaderboard from your account.
